the town: our little town of Skagway, Alaska has the best of Southeast Alaska living. We are located at the very top of the inside passage, right on the ocean, and in the midst of the coastal mountains. It is a picturesque valley and area, brimming with activities for adventurers of all levels. Miles of hiking trails, readily accessed ocean or lake kayaking, skiing, snowmachining, snowshoeing, birdwatching, photography, wildlife viewing, northern lights sighting, fishing...the list goes on and on.

the community: is small and very friendly, full of smiling faces and friendly greetings. Our primary industry is tourism, and we see hundreds of thousands of visitors each year from all over the world in the busy summertimes. During the off-season, the focus is on family and the community, which hosts many local gatherings and events throughout the year.

the cafe: Haven Cafe herself forms a hub for the community of Skagway: it's where people come to meet, greet, relax, and enjoy. We are located on 9th & State street, directly next door to our community natural foods store, You Say Tomato. We really are a haven, as we are located just next to the busy downtown, creating a comfortable space away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, and a welcome reprieve for the busy summer workforce. In the winter we are a favorite place to visit and meet our friends, with entertainment offerings throughout the quiet months.
