Haven Cafe opened her doors March 15, 2001 and has been a big part of Skagway culture ever since. A warm, casual and interesting atmosphere - we welcome artists, vagabonds, adventurers and wanderers - you'll all end up here eventually! We offer a menu of light & yummy fare, a full line of espresso, coffee & tea, fresh bakery, decadent desserts, and real handmade milkshakes. We also offer a place to meet, greet, relax and enjoy.

The cafe is a warm and friendly place in a historic building with hard wood floors and large windows affording a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Lots of seating inside plus a supersoft sofa and a couple of armchairs, and a brick patio with more views and seating. Our bookshelf is stocked with an assortment of interesting reading material and games, and there are plants all about and lots of inviting stuff to browse through. Plus we have a giant bulletin board in our foyer filled with news of local goings on so everyone can stay apprised of Skagway happenings.

Our walls feature local art in shows that change monthly, and we offer live music through our 'cafe nites', plus we occasion poetry nites, movie nites, and in the winter time, sunday nite gourmet dinners. We also handle catering jobs of all types, on or off site.
